Will your network handle today’s and tomorrow’s needs? AnalyCIS’ staff understands we must resolve stability and performance issues for the present. But will other providers also consider and consult you on design alternatives that carry little to no extra burdens in the short term, but will have dramatic impacts for future growth?

In many cases, i.e.: category 5 vs. category 6 cabling, the newer is less expensive and upgrades your potential thresholds. In this specific case, it upgrades your potential backbone from 1GB to 10GB. So why wouldn’t you install “cat6”? Because, you were never informed. Many providers quote cat6 higher either to make more now or more later when they upgrade your cabling to cat6 from the cat5 they install now. AnalyCIS takes a long term view with our customers. The above example is only one case – there are many, many, more we could cite.

Strategic Training

There are many highly certified and experienced technologists in every field except those that are so “cutting edge” not enough time has permitted knowledge transfer. Those technologies are an exception and not being addressed in this report. But for all the common technologies we all use – those technologies and the technologists that support them are!

Your IT staff work for you; get trained for you; obtain their certifications for you; and have deep knowledge of your operations. So why do they insist on and support when a vendor sells their “3rd Party” support level agreement (SLA)?
